What’s the role?

Headquartered in Dublin, with offices in New York, London and Singapore, Bloomberg Data Management Services (BDMS) delivers the latest generation of Enterprise Data Management solutions to financial organizations worldwide. BDMS works with some of the largest and most prestigious financial services firms in the world.

The BDMS Implementation team is seeking a driven, client-focused individual to lead the onboarding and delivery of BDMS solutions for new and existing clients. This role is primarily focused on end-to-end implementation ownership, ensuring seamless onboarding, coordination across stakeholders, and high-quality delivery. In addition, the role requires strong technical capability to support data analysis, solution configuration, integrations, and troubleshooting when needed.

You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, owning delivery while also stepping in to solve technical challenges across data, workflows, and system integrations.

We'll trust you to:


Implementation & Delivery
• Coordinate and execute deployments of client environments through management of prioritization, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple implementations.
• Management of existing client environments. Includes the deployment of new client tenants, add-ons, fixes, upgrades by reviewing and acting on incoming deployment update messages, ensuring accurate execution.
• Perform deployment validation checks and execute provisioning, updates, or removals as required.
• Coordinate communications of all deployments with internal and external stakeholders.
• Validate completed deployments against client requirements and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate vendor data licensing, including 3rd party ESG entitlement checks
Technical Support
• Perform hands-on configuration and support integration for Data License Plus features such as API and Cloud Publication.
• Identify opportunities for improvements to implementation workflows.
• Collaborate with internal teams on complex technical configuration and investigations.

You'll need to have:

• Strong experience in implementation, onboarding, or service delivery within financial data or enterprise platforms
• Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries and troubleshooting performance issues
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation
• Solid understanding of data formats including Parquet, XML, JSON, YAML, and CSV
• Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, and build tools (Maven/Ant)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data and workflows
• Knowledge of financial industry identifiers (e.g. ISIN, CUSIP) and asset classes
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize across concurrent initiatives
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong client-facing experience

• Familiarity with data formats (e.g., Parquet, Avro, JSON, XML) and cloud technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Google BigQuery.
• Experience of programming languages (e.g. Python) is a distinct advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
