The Communities Coordinator will provide operational, programmatic, and administrative support to Bloomberg’s Inclusion Communities. This role partners closely with the Global Communities Lead and stakeholders across Communications, Marketing, and Events to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of community programs, campaigns, and events.
The role is focused on ensuring Inclusion Communities are well-organized, consistently supported, and able to deliver meaningful engagement and impact across the organization.
We’ll trust you to:
Community Program & Operational Support
- Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support for Inclusion Community programs, initiatives, and events
- Track timelines, deliverables, and milestones across multiple community initiatives and activations
- Support planning, logistics, and execution of community meetings, programs, and events (virtual and in-person)
- Maintain community documentation, playbooks, trackers, and shared resources to support consistency and governance
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Support
- Partner closely with the Global Communities Lead to support delivery of the global communities strategy
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Communications, Marketing, Events, HR, and community leaders, to support community priorities
- Assist with preparing agendas, presentations, materials, and follow-ups for community and stakeholder meetings
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day coordination related to community activities
- Communications & Engagement Support
- Support internal communications related to Inclusion Communities, including campaigns, announcements, and event promotion
- Assist with gathering content, timelines, and approvals to ensure communications are timely and accurate
- Help ensure community initiatives are well-coordinated, visible, and aligned with Inclusion priorities
Data, Reporting & Process Support
- Help collect, track, and organize data related to community participation, engagement, and activities
- Maintain trackers and simple dashboards to support reporting and planning
- Assist with process documentation and continuous improvement efforts to enhance community operations
- Vendor, Budget & General Team Support
- Support vendor coordination related to community events and programming, including scheduling and invoice tracking
- Assist with budget tracking, purchase requests, and expense reconciliation for community initiatives
- Provide calendar management, meeting coordination, and general administrative support as needed
- Support ad hoc projects aligned with Inclusion and community strategy
You’ll need to have:
- 1+ years of experience in coordination, program management, HR, communications, events, or administrative support roles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Comfort working with data, trackers, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets)
- Proficiency with common workplace tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Zoom, PowerPoint)
We’d love to see:
- Experience supporting employee communities, ERGs, or people-related programs
- Experience coordinating events, campaigns, or cross-functional initiatives
- Exposure to Inclusion, HR, or employee engagement work
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Salary Range = 35 - 43 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
