Bloomberg's Diversity and Inclusion team is looking for a D&I Business Partner to help advance the company’s global D&I mission and vision, and to serve as a thought leader and partner for diversity and inclusion across our Product, Data & Technology (PDT) businesses in the United States. Through close collaboration you will provide strategic solutions, mentorship and coaching, facilitating discussions across the businesses, providing external intelligence and best practices to increase and drive awareness and engagement across AMER and in collaboration with EMEA and APAC. We’re seeking a creative and results-driven individual who can help to design, drive and deliver strategic D&I initiatives.  


We’ll trust you to:  

  • Co-develop the strategy and vision for D&I in the business, providing guidance and insights on programming and consultation to HR partners, business leaders, managers, and employees 
  • Provide thought leadership, advice, coaching, solutions and consultation to HR Business Partners, business leaders, D&I champions and the Business D&I task forces 
  • Work collaboratively across HR, Talent Development and Recruiting to develop innovative strategies and programs and ensure effective execution of the D&I business agenda 
  • Ensure business alignment with enterprise wide and regional strategies 
  • Stay up to date across the region with regulatory and policy developments affecting D&I 
  • Analyze employment activities such as applicant flow, new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions to identify potential areas of focus and other opportunities to promote diversity initiatives 
  • Manage multiple projects following a matrix model, driving successful outcomes 
  • Support and or represent D&I and Bloomberg efforts with internal and external initiatives 


You'll need to have:  

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in diversity and inclusion, with strategic and operational experience delivering D&I initiatives in partnership with a business
  • Experience in D&I with strategic and operational experience delivering D&I initiatives in partnership with the business and HR
  • The ability to drive projects and initiatives as a self-starter with a strong business focus and outstanding critical thinking and communication skills. 
  • Experience in the creation, design and execution of D&I programs and initiatives 
  • Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills 
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting numerical data, and translating analyses into meaningful recommendations 
  • Strong team player skills with the ability to working in collaboration and partner with colleagues supporting our Product, Data and Technology businesses across Asia Pacific and the Americas 
  • Comfort analyzing and interpreting data, and translating analyses into practical recommendations 
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Salary Range = 150000 - 185000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
