Bloomberg Television and Radio is seeking a highly motivated producer to join the EMEA news desk from our Berlin bureau. This is a dynamic, relationship-driven role suited for a journalist who thrives building strong connections with newsmakers across Germany and the broader region. The successful candidate will be an outstanding communicator and planner, and passionate about delivering sharp, impactful news coverage across platforms.

You’ll bring an interest for stories that matter to a global audience of investors, with a strong grasp of politics, economics, and business. You'll need to be equally comfortable in the field, on the news desk, and across digital platforms, whether you're producing a high-profile live interview, running field production logistics, or shaping content for multimedia distribution.

We'll trust you to:

  • Field produce at major news events across the region, coordinating logistics, directing crews, and supporting on-air talent
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-level newsmakers, securing timely interviews and access
  • Work closely with the Berlin bureau, the rest of the TV newsdesk and global editorial teams to align on news priorities and deploy coverage effectively
  • Pitch, plan, produces both video and broadcast-ready graphics with an eye for cross-platform storytelling
  • Be ready to travel as news demands, and flexible with early or late shifts when needed
You'll need to have: 

  • 5+ years of experience in broadcast journalism or multimedia news production
  • Strong news judgment and editorial instincts, especially in a European political and economic context
  • Demonstrated ability to book interviews with senior officials, business leaders, and other influential voices
  • Experience in field production, including coordinating live reporter hits and remote shoots
  • A self-starter mentality, excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to work under pressure
  • Fluency in German (required); additional languages are a plus
