We are seeking a collaborative and experienced journalist to serve as an editor in our Finance & Investing Americas group. This is a dynamic and fast-paced assignment, shaping stories on the biggest banks and investment firms on the global stage. You'll work with some of the top reporters in the newsroom to chronicle the fortunes being made and lost on Wall Street, profile the people driving the decisions, and spell out the impact on consumers, markets and the political landscape.
This role will combine a mix of breaking news stories and enterprise features; speed, clarity and accuracy are a must. We'll rely on you to jump on fast-moving stories and deliver meaningful context that helps our audience make sense of market-moving developments in real time. You will also team up with reporters on longer-term projects, collaborating closely to shape ideas, guide reporting, and produce compelling storytelling that's fair, complete, insightful and resonant across platforms.
We'll trust you to:
--Quickly shape accurate, fair, detailed and captivating coverage
--Work closely with reporters to bring the best out of their notebooks
--Think beyond simple copy changes to tell powerful narratives that encompass print, visuals, audio and video
--Possess an intuitive understanding of our audience across formats and platforms
You'll need to have:
--At least 5 years in a real-time financial journalism newsroom
--A strong work ethic and the ability to stay calm under pressure
--Deep knowledge of financial markets and the key firms that shape them
--A proven track record of collaborating with colleagues
Salary Range = 90000 - 125000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
