What’s the role?
As a Global Talent Partner for Bloomberg Financial Solutions, you’ll partner with HR and global business leaders to understand the talent and leadership development needs to build leader capability and drive organizational impact. You'll leverage the Leadership & Talent Development Center of Excellence (CoE) for enterprise-wide resources and programmatic support and build and deliver bespoke solutions that are culturally relevant, globally scalable, and aligned with business priorities to drive performance. You’ll recommend and implement a wide range of learning and development, change management, and organizational design programs based on business needs. You will be part of the HR leadership team for Financial Solutions, and part of the global Leadership & Talent Development team.


We'll trust you to:
  • Partner with HR colleagues and senior leaders to understand the talent and development needs across Bloomberg’s Financial Solutions teams; providing talent partner support in EMEA, and partnering with talent partners in both APAC and the Americas regions to implement strategic talent plans for the businesses
  • As part of the Financial Solutions HR team, you will focus on the continuous development and evolution of various talent programs, which may include cohort-based development programs, mentor or sponsorship programs, career development initiatives and organization design and change, to name a few
  • Lead the strategy, design/creation and implementation of leadership and management development programs including tailoring common professional development offerings, specific for the businesses
  • Work in collaboration and partnership with the Leadership & Talent Development CoE to ensure Bloomberg’s Financial Solutions businesses are aligned and benefiting from enterprise thought leadership programs
  • Identify and incorporate new methodologies for evaluating the impact of learning experiences alongside planning for the skill set and development of the future
  • Facilitate the identification, development, and management of high potential talent
  • Act as a coach and trusted advisor to the Financial Solutions HR leadership team and employees, as required
  • Be pragmatic and passionate about leadership development and talent management
  • Adapt in a constantly changing, fast paced environment
  • Communicate persuasively and credibly (both verbally and in writing)
  • Deliver classroom, blended and remote training offerings for leadership audiences

You’ll need to have:
  • 10+ years of proven experience designing and delivering training in a commercial environment with a strong emphasis on leadership development
  • Extensive hands-on experience delivering in-person and remote training to international groups
  • Ability to navigate complex matrixed environments
  • Demonstrated collaborative approach to partnering across wider HR teams
  • Demonstrated understanding of instructional design for in-person and remote learning
  • Experience as an influential coach and advisor to senior leadership
  • Implemented change and talent management initiatives and the ability to take personal accountability for their success
  • Experience with diversity and inclusion work
  • Identified and developed high potential talent
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Solid organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and excellent prioritization abilities
  • A strategic approach whilst remaining hands on and execution focused
  • An ability to act professionally regarding sensitive subjects
  • Adaptable with an ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
