Bloomberg Media is looking for an individual with a proactive attitude who is focused, flexible, and proficient in several aspects of broadcast operations, and who can work collaboratively in a live control room and studio environment in a jib camera operator capacity. They will be required to work with operations, on-air talent, engineering, and editorial teams, as well as their global counterparts to ensure a high-quality visual production on a part-time basis.
We'll trust you to:
• Participate in pre-show meetings with editorial and technical teams to align show vision.
• Move quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced broadcast environment.
• Collaborate with the technical team and editorial personnel to ensure a quality visual presentation to our audience
• Read, follow, and execute all relevant tasks outlined in a live news broadcast rundown
• Operate and frame a 9ft Jimmy Jib Triangle Pro camera in a studio space for a 3-hour production.
• Communicate with Team Leads to report on issues and faults that will impact global counterparts.
• Be able to assist in the lifting of set pieces up to 50 lbs.
You'll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree or 2 year of experience working in a live TV environment
• Experience with multicamera robotic systems in a fast-paced live show environment
• Experience with operating a 9ft jib underslung in a studio space
• Experience with Sony HDC Cameras • Ability to follow a live rundown (knowledge of ENPS preferred but not required) and ability to adapt to adjustments in real time • Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends
• Strong organizational + communication skills & attention to detail

Salary Range = 50 - 55 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
