Description & Requirements

Bloomberg Media is hiring a Manager, Strategy & Operations to help define strategy and drive execution, reporting directly into the Head of Strategy & Chief of Staff to the CEO. As a member of the Corporate Strategy team, this individual will also interface with the executive team and leaders across Subscriptions, Product, Advertising, Events and Editorial teams. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Independently scope and lead cross-functional strategy and operational improvement projects from conception to completion. Projects could include business model innovation, operating model changes, AI strategy, international expansion, and more. 

- Develop research- and data-driven analyses, synthesize findings and present strategic recommendations to the leadership team and CEO 

- Identify and evaluate opportunities for growth, build necessary forecasts and financial models for business casing, and bring this work into execution 

- Serve as a consultant and trusted advisor for leaders across Bloomberg Media, facilitating communication and alignment across business units to drive strategic priorities 

- Support operational needs of the CEO’s office, including monthly business performance updates, internal forums and townhalls, annual strategic and financial planning process, and summer strategy leadership workshop 

- Provide competitive intelligence insights on the most meaningful dynamics and customer needs shaping the media landscape

REQUIREMENTS:
- A bachelor’s degree

- 3-5 years experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, or in corporate strategy for a media company

- Experience in and/or passion for the media industry

- Experience leading market research, financial modeling, and translating data into strategic recommendations 

- Excellent analytical capabilities to identify high impact areas of opportunity and make recommendations on how to execute

- Collaborative teammate who can operate effectively in a matrixed organization, and is excited to work across a range of teams and contexts to understand the bigger picture 

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to build clear presentations for an executive-level audience and capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels

- Highly organized, attention to detail, and comfortable leading multiple work streams at the same time

Salary Range = 105000 - 155000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
