About the department
The Bloomberg APAC Marketing team plays a critical role in aligning Bloomberg’s global marketing vision with the unique and diverse needs of the APAC region. By combining data-driven insights, creative storytelling, and a multi-channel approach, the team delivers tailored campaigns that build brand awareness, help acquire new clients, deepen relationships with existing one, and support recruitment and talent initiatives. Operating in a complex and fast-paced environment, the team works closely with Sales, Product, and internal partners to ensure that regional initiatives are both impactful and seamlessly integrated with Bloomberg’s broader global objectives.
What’s the role
Our APAC Marketing team in Singapore is seeking an experienced content writer and curator with deep knowledge of the global business landscape and financial markets. The ideal candidate will combine creative writing expertise with a professional services background to craft compelling short-form content that resonates with our audience and drives engagement.
We’ll trust you to:
• Write clear, engaging short-form content for a finance and business audience across multiple digital platforms
• Source, organize, and manage content libraries and databases
• Blend creativity, research skills, and organizational ability to ensure content is aligned with campaign goals
• Research and curate high-quality content that is timely and relevant to target audiences
• Generate original ideas that go beyond the brief and support audience engagement
• Deeply understand the prospect/customer journey to guide content strategy
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product and sales teams, to align content with business objectives
• Partner with art directors and designers to shape strong visual and narrative concepts
• Sub-edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency
• Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment and incorporate feedback effectively
• Present and pitch content ideas to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership
You’ll Need to have:
• 5-10 years of recent hands-on copywriting experience in a global corporate in-house marketing department or international agency setting, with a proven track record in business content creation
• Demonstrated experience writing B2B marketing content for digital platforms such as social media, websites, email marketing, landing pages, and other short- and long-form content formats
• Proven experience developing content for multiple APAC markets, tailoring messaging for regional nuances and audience behaviors (e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan)
• Experience working in fintech, banking, investment, insurance, or professional services
• Exceptional writing skills, with a portfolio that showcases versatility and clarity across formats
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience creating optimized content
• Excellent research skills and the ability to quickly understand complex financial topics
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales
• Familiarity with managing content libraries or databases for efficient cataloging and retrieval
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
• Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
