We’re seeking a highly-motivated marketer to join the fast growing group subscriptions business. Bloomberg.com Group Subscriptions enables leading global corporations, government agencies, world-class universities and more to purchase large quantities of Bloomberg.com digital subscriptions for their employees, members and students. In this role, you’ll bring to life marketing initiatives across various outbound channels to convert, engage, upsell and retain this growing audience of group subscribers. You’ll work with partners across the company to implement innovative marketing strategies across paid digital channels, Bloomberg event integrations and owned channels to drive maximum revenue.
The right person for this role will be a driven marketing athlete who is guided by data. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and skilled at balancing multiple projects. You are excited by the idea of both iterating existing strategies and building something net-new. You are a creative, innovative problem solver who always puts the customer first. You’ve had experience in digital marketing and/or integrated marketing, with B2B and subscriptions businesses experience a plus. You’re always on top of the latest digital trends and bring new ideas to the table.
We’ll trust you to:
- Execute marketing campaigns across paid and unpaid channels to drive quality leads for the Sales Organization, optimizing strategies to improve revenue
- Analyze landing page(s) heatmap and traffic behavior continually, in order to form recommendations for design adjustments that increase conversion rates
- Generate and distribute clear and insightful reporting to show impact of acquisition efforts
- Partner closely with other marketers across Bloomberg (including specifically the Lifecycle and Events marketing teams) to share learnings, identify collaboration opportunities, and orchestrate communications to meet shared goals
- Support sales teams in creating best-in-class client-facing pitch content as well as familiarizing them regularly on how to best use these to convey compelling product positioning
- Work with the client success team to deliver marketing support for existing clients that increases the activation and engagement rates of our growing group subscriber base
- Adapt, learn quickly and be inventive
You’ll need to have:
- Strong understanding of engagement tactics, personalization, and marketing automation
- A personal interest in news, current events, and the worlds of business/finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing role with experience working across web, app, and email. B2B or B2B2C experience is a plus, as is experience working alongside a sales organization
- Hands-on experience working with an enterprise-level CRM such as Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot etc.
- Stellar written and verbal English communication skills with an eye for good marketing copy
- Natural marketing instincts with the ability to relate to our customers and prospects
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret and leverage data to recommend opportunities
- Tight-knit collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Ability to execute at a high level with a high degree of ownership and attention to detail
