Description & Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Operational Resilience leader to design and deliver service dependency mapping, scenario testing, and sector response for the organization. We’ll trust you to:
- Establish and scale service and dependency mapping, identifying product, infrastructure, and third-party interdependencies
- Design and implement a firmwide scenario testing framework, covering severe-but-plausible cyber, technology, third-party, and market disruption events
- Facilitate the setting of and/or validate tolerances (e.g., impact tolerance, maximum tolerable level of disruption, RTOs, and RPOs) aligned to client and regulatory expectations
- Lead cross-functional simulation exercises, including executive-level crisis exercises
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Technology, Cyber, Risk, and other stakeholders to embed resilience into product development and operational processes
- Coordinate sector response readiness and contribute to industry-wide resilience initiatives
- Contribute to meaningful reporting for leadership, governance bodies, and regulators

You’ll need to have:
- 15+ years of relevant experience with scenario testing, dependency mapping, IT disaster recovery and/or cyber resilience strategies within financial services, enterprise software as a service (SaaS), fintech, or technology industries
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs without direct reporting authority and influence stakeholders including management, clients, and vendors
- Sound judgment and an ability to serve as a strategic partner, suggesting new ideas, accepting, implementing feedback, and advising stakeholders (of all management levels) on best practices
- Ability to make decisions on limited information while navigating ambiguity and leveraging both your network and resources to move projects forward
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and work with tight timelines

We'd love to see:
- Ability to get up to speed quickly on business priorities, and organizational structure
- Strong project management skills: plans, organizes, motivates, and controls resources to achieve project objectives while accounting for constraints
- High degree of professionalism, flexibility, autonomy, and customer-focus
- Experience working on regulatory projects or programs

If indicated, please note that years of experience are a guide; we will consider applications from all candidates who can demonstrate the skills necessary for the role.
