Bloomberg is looking for a producer to assist with various production tasks and elements across different Bloomberg podcasts. They will work under the guidance of a Supervising Producer. This role will be project based. This opening is for a producer with at least 3 years of experience working with podcasts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee recordings of interviews and roundtable discussion in the Bloomberg studios and over Riverside
- Quickly cut interviews and assist with assembling podcasts
- Responsible for production and quality control of podcast segments repurposed for radio
- Book, pre-interview guests and prep questions for hosts
- Produce studio interviews and vox pop recordings
- Find and pull news clips and other tape when relevant
- Assist in creating show and episode descriptions and other digital assets
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 3+ years experience in podcasting and/or radio broadcasting
- A knowledge of podcasts and business news
- Ability to edit audio on deadline in Descript, Adobe Audition, and Google Docs
- Experience using recording equipment both in and out of the studio
- Experience with fact checking
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly and efficiently under deadline
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
Salary Range = 45 - 50 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
