Description & Requirements
Digital assets are evolving institutional finance. Asset managers are allocating to crypto, traditional instruments are being tokenized, and blockchain infrastructure is moving into core capital-market workflows. Bloomberg's expertise in data, analytics, and market infrastructure positions us to help institutions navigate this transformation.
What is the role?
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead Bloomberg's digital asset strategy across financial product areas. You will own the Crypto product strategy and shape the data and analytics our clients depend on, including crypto asset coverage and stablecoin analytics. You will also help guide Bloomberg's broader digital asset strategy by working with teams across the company to explain how tokenization and distributed-ledger technology are influencing asset classes, market structure, and traditional capital-markets workflows.
In this role, you will engage directly with clients and blockchain protocols in multiple regions to understand their needs and use those insights to influence future product direction. You will serve as a voice for the digital asset transition and help teams across Bloomberg understand how their offerings should evolve. You will communicate with and influence stakeholders at every level of the organization, adjusting your approach depending on the audience to ensure our solutions remain relevant and aligned with strategic priorities.
You will work closely with partners across the company to validate strategies, identify opportunities, and drive alignment on digital-asset initiatives. This is a high-visibility role shaping how Bloomberg serves clients in an evolving market.
We’ll trust you to:
- Define and evolve the Crypto product strategy using a prioritization framework that drives measurable outcomes
- Partner with institutional clients in all regions to understand workflows, identify opportunities, and translate needs into product strategies
- Serve as Bloomberg's subject-matter expert on digital assets and maintain a strong understanding of blockchain technology, tokenization, custody models, and market structure
- Drive cross-organizational digital-asset strategy by educating peers, establishing clear frameworks, identifying interdependencies, and aligning priorities
- Represent Bloomberg in client discussions, industry working groups, and conferences
- Work with senior leadership on strategic direction and prepare recommendations and updates that help shape Bloomberg's digital-asset priorities
You’ll need to have:
- 8 +years of product management or strategy experience in financial markets and technology
- A strong foundation in capital-markets infrastructure, trading workflows, or financial data products
- Experience creating a product vision and roadmap, assessing technical trade-offs, managing competing priorities, and overseeing releases
- A proven track record of influencing outcomes in matrixed organizations and driving strategy across multiple stakeholder groups without direct authority
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams, present to leadership, and external audiences
We’d love to see:
- At least two years of experience working with digital assets in institutional contexts
- Experience with blockchain technology, tokenization models, or on-chain data systems
- Existing relationships with institutional crypto clients or blockchain protocol teams
- A history of building product strategy in emerging or ambiguous market segments
