We are seeking an experienced, resourceful, and highly organized Senior Booking Producer to help drive compelling, high-quality coverage across Bloomberg’s platforms. This role is ideal for someone with strong editorial instincts, a deep understanding of the news landscape, and a proven ability to secure impactful guests and shape meaningful conversations.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify, pitch, and secure a wide range of guests for live and recorded programming, aligning bookings with key editorial priorities and breaking news moments.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, public figures, communications teams, and relevant stakeholders across business, policy, and global affairs.
- Collaborate with producers, anchors, and editors to develop segments, refine editorial angles, and ensure bookings enhance overall coverage.
- Coordinate guest logistics across platforms including TV, radio, digital, and events, ensuring a seamless and strategic approach.
- Respond quickly to developing stories, proactively sourcing relevant voices and perspectives under tight deadlines.
- Conduct research and pre-interviews, delivering clear and concise briefs that support on-air talent and strengthen interviews.
- Contribute to scripting, segment framing, and headline writing as needed in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
- Manage booking pipelines, communications, and priorities with a high level of organization and follow-through.
What We’re Looking For:
- Significant experience in guest booking, newsroom production, or a similar role within a live or fast-paced media environment.
- Strong editorial judgment and the ability to identify compelling voices and angles across a range of topics.
- Proven relationship-building skills and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders; experience working with high-profile guests is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of current events, business, and global issues (subject-matter expertise is a plus but not required).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, adapt quickly, and meet tight deadlines.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a solutions-driven mindset.
- Flexibility to accommodate evolving news cycles and programming needs.
Salary Range = 40 - 50 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
