Bloomberg Media Studios is seeking a Senior Creative Producer in London who is a film and motion graphics expert - collaborative, conceptual, strategic and an expert storyteller. The ideal candidate has an extensive background in production, post-production, motion graphics, and animation but also has the expertise and passion for conceptual thinking and idea development. This person will develop and implement outstanding creative work on behalf of Bloomberg clients – from presenting groundbreaking ideas to clients; to researching and writing docu-style short films, TikTok videos or a podcast; to imagining a data visualization that will change how people think about a subject.
We are looking for someone who can collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to produce breakthrough ideas and work, as well as collaborating as an individual contributor as part of a larger team. And proven skills in visual communication and presenting to clients are a must-have.
We’ll trust you to:
- Generate innovative ideas across all existing and emerging platforms and inspire colleagues to build world-class, pioneering work and content
- Shape and conceive the creative storytelling to answer client objectives, deliver on Bloomberg’s unique value, and align the tone and style with our platforms (TV, OTT, Digital, Social)
- Showcase your expert storytelling across a range of formats – social-first videos, short-form, animated, long-form documentary style and multi-wave episodic content – that match Bloomberg-owned media channels and audience content consumption trends on TV, OTT, Digital, and Social
- Direct the creative vision (and make it your own!) across every step of the production process: storyboarding, animation, motion graphics, and sound design working in collaboration with internal teams or external production partners
- Ensure the highest quality work whether you’re working with internal teams or directing external production partners at every step: from production to pre-production, through post, up to and including final delivery
- Research, develop and pitch treatments that break through and set the standard for both internal teams and production partners
- Collaborate with both cross-discipline team members (design, social, copywriting, content strategy) to drive the best results
- Attend and manage shoots, ensuring robust and high quality execution according to creative direction and video briefs. Interview contributors with a high degree of professionalism
- Oversee, manage and track production budgets and production schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Bid, Budget, schedule, and track finance for multiple client projects simultaneously
You'll need to have:
- A stellar body of work, including work for Media, Finance, Technology and Luxury brands (personal work is also encouraged)
- 10+ years professional work experience in-house or working as a Creative Video Producer in the media and advertising space
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills to balance multiple projects at once
- A firm understanding of all aspects of the production and post-production process as it pertains to video and animation
- An easy-going attitude, calm under pressure, client facing, and personable
- Excellent spoken and written communication with a heavy dose of storytelling
- Creative or content/publisher/agency/consultancy experience at management level
- Proficiency working with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere/After Effects), Microsoft Office, Google Calendar. SmartSheets is a plus
- Highly collaborative approach with our team of writers, editors and animators
- Ability to provide timely, effective feedback to improve creative processes and to keep work on budget and schedule
- Flexibility to travel as needed
