The role:
  • We’re seeking a strategically-minded Senior Manager to join the Brand & Editorial Marketing team and lead the development, optimization, and execution of marketing strategies that promote Bloomberg’s newsroom coverage and editorial franchises.
  • In this role, you will own the evolution of how we bring our journalism to market—ensuring our editorial marketing efforts are insight-driven, performance-oriented, and aligned to both audience growth and subscription goals. You’ll work closely with newsroom, product, creative, lifecycle, and media teams to plan and execute full-funnel campaigns tied to the editorial calendar and key business priorities.
  • You’ll play a critical role in shaping go-to-market strategies for major editorial initiatives, testing and optimizing creative approaches, and delivering measurable impact across the funnel.
We’ll trust you to: 
  • Lead and continuously refine the strategy for promoting Bloomberg newsroom coverage, ensuring alignment with audience growth and subscription objectives
  • Partner closely with editorial teams to plan marketing efforts around the editorial calendar, tentpole moments, and key coverage areas
  • Develop and execute full-funnel go-to-market campaigns for editorial packages, franchises, and major launches
  • Drive creative testing and optimization across channels, using performance data to iterate and improve results
  • Collaborate with media, lifecycle, insights, and product teams to ensure campaigns effectively reach and convert target audiences
  • Write clear, insight-driven creative briefs and partner with creative teams to deliver high-quality assets
  • Act as a central connector across newsroom, creative, product, media, and insights teams to ensure seamless campaign execution
  • Establish and lead regular reporting for leadership and key stakeholders, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Partner with data and insights teams to define measurement frameworks and optimize reporting approaches
  • Advocate for innovative, high-impact marketing approaches that elevate Bloomberg’s journalism and brand
You’ll need to have:
  • 6–8+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on strategy, campaign leadership, and performance optimization
  • Proven experience developing and executing full-funnel marketing campaigns that drive both audience growth and subscriptions
  • Experience working closely with editorial or newsroom teams is strongly encouraged
  • Strong background in creative testing, optimization, and performance-driven marketing
  • Experience writing and delivering effective creative briefs and partnering with creative teams to produce impactful work
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams across a complex organization
  • Experience leading reporting efforts and communicating performance to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven news environment
  • A love for the news and keeping up with media trends 
Salary Range = 140000 - 160000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
