Senior Product Manager - Search and Personalization

Bloomberg Media is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Search and Personalization to drive innovative user experiences on Bloomberg.com. This role will work with a full stack engineering team, focusing on building products that enhance the user’s search and discovery experience, as well as developing personalization capabilities that drive deep user engagement and monthly active users, cultivating a loyal customer base. If you are a motivated self-starter who is passionate about user-centric products, and you have deep experience building web/app-based search and personalization capabilities at scale, we want to hear from you!

We’ll trust you to:
  • Define the vision for search and personalization on Bloomberg.com, and build a roadmap with industry-leading solutions for execution.
  • Partner closely with engineering and design to ship products and features that enhance user engagement, improves the user’s search experience on web and mobile app, and drives value through deeply personalized experiences.
  • Clearly communicate plans, insights, data, and results to a spectrum of audiences.
  • Analyze diverse user data, delving deeply into user needs, and iteratively optimizing the user experience of search and personalization products.
  • Gather user feedback, research, and insights to deliver product innovation.

You’ll need to have:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience building and shipping AI/ML-driven personalization products at scale with teams of full stack engineers, designers, and data scientists.
  • Strong understanding of search products and mechanisms, search quality evaluation methods and processes, experience with Elasticsearch a big plus.
  • A strong bias toward action, and is comfortable navigating a complex organization
  • Excellent people skills and an expert collaborator; ability to work successfully with both direct and indirect teams across the organization, gaining consensus and stakeholder buy-in and getting things done.
  • Experience delivering products end-to-end that have shown proven business impact.
  • Deep experience with making data-informed decisions, experimentation-driven decision-making, data analysis, and defining metrics.
  • Technical acumen, experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product, able to collaborate and drive consensus across cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, UX/UI, usability, user experience mapping

Salary Range = 140000 - 175000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
