Bloomberg’s flagship, Terminal based buy-side offering, PM<GO>, empowers users with real-time portfolio monitoring, rapid decision-making capabilities, and flexible portfolio modification tools. We're looking for engineers to join our team and help us take PM<GO> to the next level.

As part of our team, you'll tackle exciting challenges including:

  • New Product Builds: Spearhead the introduction of innovative workflows to enhance PM<GO> functionality.
  • Scale and Performance: Elevate PM<GO> to support increased capacity and faster processing, ensuring seamless performance as our user base grows.
  • Insights and Automation: Develop smart, automated capabilities that detect portfolio shifts, drive rebalancing workflows, and surface proposed orders to users through scalable, API-first solutions.
  • Observability: Implement advanced monitoring and analytics to optimise user experience and address performance bottlenecks effectively.
  • Maintenance and Stability: Contribute to ongoing codebase improvements, ensuring compliance with the latest standards and enhancing engineering-driven quality initiatives.

We are a frontend team, using TypeScript, React.

You Will Need to Have:
  • Interest in Client-Facing Workflows: A passion for crafting user-centric solutions within a product-oriented team environment.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript

We'd Love to See:
  • React Experience: Familiarity with React will accelerate your contributions to our front-end development efforts.
  • Interest in Financial Workflows: Curiosity about financial workflows is advantageous, though prior experience is not necessary.
  • Interest in UX: Enthusiasm for user experience best practices and a willingness to collaborate with UX specialists to deliver engaging interfaces.
