Across Company Financials Data Teams, we move markets by providing our clients with sought-after reported-on and broker-estimated financials that are normalized across industries and companies, key analytical ratios, and industry-specific data points. Our products run on intelligence and industry-specific insight provided by the teams. With sector-aligned analysts that influence investment decisions and move the markets every day, our teams are growing.
Using innovative, collaborative, and client focused approaches to data extraction, aggregation, and standardization, our data analysts use industry knowledge and company financial data subject matter expertise in order to build a comprehensive client experience across the product offering throughout the earnings cycle.

What’s the Role?
We are looking for a Team Leader to lead and develop a high-performing team of Energy, Materials, and Utilities data analysts. You will be responsible for data management and analysis across the sector, including subsectors such as oil & gas and renewable energy. You will play a key role in maintaining data quality and consistency, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial data, and curating company- and industry-specific KPIs. You will also build strong technical and data management capabilities within your team, including expertise in data quality frameworks, data architecture, workflow automation, and our technology stack. Your team will transform complex data and workflows into scalable financial data products that are essential to our clients.
We’ll trust you to:
- Stay up to date on energy sector trends and apply your understanding to source, analyze, and deliver data accurately and efficiently
- Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of analysts specializing in energy and data management
- Enable your team to produce insights on market developments and trends to support product and client needs
- Collaborate with global counterparts to improve workflows, operating procedures, and data consistency across regions
- Establish processes and standards that ensure high-quality data delivery and exceptional client service
- Partner with Product, Sales, News, and Engineering to enhance databases and terminal functionality
- Apply deep industry knowledge to drive decisions around data interoperability
- Lead complex data initiatives and projects within the energy domain
You’ll need to have:
- A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of data management principles (data modeling, analysis, quality, process engineering, statistics)
- Ability to translate data into insights and narratives
- A clear vision for delivering exceptional service, and the ability to execute through strong business and people strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a flexible, creative approach
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment
- Fluency in spoken and written English
We’d love to see:
- Experience in financial modeling (Excel, PowerPoint), SQL, programming (e.g., Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik Sense)
- Strong understanding of financial statements and industry analysis
- Knowledge of Energy subsectors and relevant economic and research data
- CFA designation (or in progress)
- Experience working with industry data as part of product coverage
