We are seeking a passionate and driven Technical Product Manager to join our team focused on revolutionizing the Bloomberg Terminal experience with cutting-edge generative AI solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for AI-powered features that empower our users to make faster, smarter, and more informed decisions.
We’ll trust you to
- Deeply Understand User Needs: Conduct thorough user research, leveraging internal subject-matter experts, client interviews, and data analysis to identify unmet needs and opportunities for generative AI to enhance the Bloomberg Terminal experience.
- Drive Product Strategy: Help define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Bloomberg’s conversational, generative AI solutions, ensuring alignment with Bloomberg's overall product strategy and business objectives.
- Align Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with UX, engineering, and AI/ML teams to translate user needs into detailed product specifications and prioritize development efforts. Build consensus with multiple teams across Product, CTO, Data, and Engineering towards user-centric, multi-faceted solutions.
- Champion Product Quality: Establish rigorous quality assurance processes and metrics to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of AI-powered features.
- Monitor and Analyze Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product adoption, user engagement, and client satisfaction to measure the success of generative AI solutions and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously monitor advancements in generative AI and related technologies to identify new opportunities and maintain Bloomberg's competitive advantage.
You’ll need to have
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful data-driven products
- Ability to understand complex domains (analogous to finance) and the needs of clients
- Familiarity with generative AI concepts, capabilities, and limitations, and in general machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) technologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Finance)
We’d love to see
- Strong understanding of the financial domain and the needs of Bloomberg Terminal users
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python/R, SQL, Tableau/Power BI)
