Bloomberg News is looking for a Markets Editor to deliver clear copy on breaking news and thematic features across asset classes in Asia. You're a journalist who makes quick and thoughtful decisions to turn around long and short pieces under deadline pressure. You will also be expected to help coach junior writers and inspire senior correspondents in the APAC region.

You're a journalist who makes quick and thoughtful decisions to turn around long and short pieces under deadline pressure. You will also be expected to help coach junior writers and inspire senior correspondents in the APAC region.
We'll trust you to:
- Turn out quick, informative pieces and then follow up with bigger-picture takes
- Build influential relationships across the newsroom to ensure our coverage captures the context of local developments and resonates across all platforms
- Explain India's markets to global audiences
- Work with reporters to develop ideas, while bringing your own perspective to add depth and value
- Innovate with story formats while promoting diversity of thought and representation throughout our coverage
You'll need to have:
- At least 5 years of recent experience in financial journalism
- Experience working in a real-time news environment
- Experience editing stories across markets, finance, or economy in Asia
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
- Attention to detail and a big-picture outlook
